This is called On The Porch, because that’s my favorite place at my house. It’s where I spend most of my time, weather-permitting. I write there. I sit there. I pace there. I drink my coffee there. I work there. I read Twitter there. I watch my little corner of the neighborhood there. I laugh at the squirrel antics there. I curse the snow from there. It’s a good spot. I highly recommend a porch/stoop/covered outside spot of your own.
This is a personal website to put all my nerdy hobbies in one place. I collect typewriters and other vintage/antique office items. I’m a fan of history, so I often find myself down a research rabbit hole, digging into some obscure story. I might share that here. I write stories. That might end up here as well.
I’m a homebody who also enjoys travel and adventures. This may not make sense, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that no one is ever just one thing. We are multitudes. That’s what makes us unique. Lean into your multitudes and contradictions. You’ll enjoy yourself so much more.
