Peet’s – Medium Roast

So, my go to grocery store coffee is Peet’s. They make a decent variety of light-dark roast. I’m a very much in the middle kind of gal. Give me a hearty medium roast any day. So that’s my go-to.

Union Coffee Roaster

Ayer, MA

I can get this at my local indie coffee shop. Let me tell you: DEE-LICIOUS! Full bodied, but not heavy. Great flavor. I’m not getting the grapefruit hints they talk about, but the tobacco, baker’s chocolate, dates flavor is for sure. It’s solid. It’s earthy. It’s damn good.

Whiskey Barrel Coffee

Commerce City, CO

I stumbled across these fine folks when I was looking for some Wynonna Earp-related stuff. You can imagine, if you watch Wynonna Earp, you could accidentally end up finding a whiskey coffee company. As an aside, watch Wynonna Earp. 3 season are on Netflix. Do yourself a favor, okay? Okay.

Now their whiskey barrel coffee bean are special. That’s sippin’ with friends on a fine afternoon or evening kind of coffee. Treat yo’ self! Now their regular old classic coffee? Delightful. Want to try a new morning get-up-and-go coffee? Try Old School. Need a nice coffee to go camping with (or just to feel like you have) try Embers.
